ACCAD and OSU Theatre were represented this month at The International Federation for Theatre Research (IFTR) at the Sorbonne in Paris. Jeanine Thompson (Theatre Faculty), Alex Oliszewski (Theatre/ACCAD Faculty) and Vita Berezina-Blackburn (ACCAD Staff) gave their invited lecture, There is No Silence: A Mediated performance based on the life and works of Marcel Marceau, on June 5th. The presentation explained their research and experimentation with interactive, live, motion capture and devised media.These technologies were used throughout the theatrical performance of There Is No Silence.
