Mark Coniglio, co-founder of Troika Ranch creates large-scale performance works that integrate music, dance, theatre and interactive media. His writings about new media in performance have appeared in numerous books and journals including New Visions in Performance, La Scena Digitale: Nuovi Media Per La Danza and Movement Research Journal. Coniglio is currently based in Berlin, Germany.

He presented a public lecture on Tuesday, January 26th in Sullivant Hall, offering a reflection on past practice in the field of media-inetnsive dance. He challenged his audience to consider ways in which computer technology will significantly impact creative practice in new, future directions.
