ACCAD recently upgraded our motion capture system to a Vicon MX 40Ts system. This system enables us to increase the quality of captured data to under 1mm accuracy (previously 2mm). The Vicon MX 40T also allows us to conduct motion capture sessions outdoors, simplify system setup and increase configuration flexibility, provide an opportunity to capture fine and gross body movement simultaneously, significantly speed up and simplify data post processing. Ownership of this system will provide high precision data for a variety of research and collaborative projects.
