On November 5th, Vita Berezina-Blackburn presented the work on Virtual Reality Performance Platform for Learning about Dementia simulation developed in collaboration with Design MFA students Dreama Cleaver, Lakshika Udakandage, Jonathan Welch and Kien Hoang as well as Theatre Department professor Alex Oliszewski. The poster session was part of the ACM Computer Supported Cooperative Work conference in Jersey City, NJ. This interactive VR session simulates an experience of living with dementia. It is facilitated in virtual reality with an immersed live actor.
