L Wilson-Spiro from the TroikaTronix team will do a remote lecture on how Isadora and IzzyCast can be used to easily collaborate with remote performers by pulling in live video, audio, and data from anywhere in the world. This will include a demonstration of creating visuals in the Motion Lab using live data from a mocap suit in Berlin, Germany. They will also discuss how ZoomOSC/ZoomISO can be used to great effect not just for compositing remote performers together, but also to provide interactive options in Zoom performances when used with Isadora.
L is a media artist, a projection, lighting, and interactive technology designer as well as a technical design consultant for theatrical and remote-performance hardware and software solutions. They are particularly passionate about creating original, text-based works incorporating interactive technology. Their specialties include projection design, multimedia show-control programming, operating projections live onstage while performing, motion tracking/capture, and other methods of turning the human body into a controller.
