2022 Disaster Preparedness Day at OSU Wexner Medical Center

On March 16th, Vita Berezina-Blackburn and Jeremy Patterson along with Dr. Doug Danforth (College of Medicine) helped OSU medical students across multiple majors and programs learn to triage disaster victims using the Virtual Reality First Responders Training Simulation. Over 60 medical students participated during the 2022 Disaster Preparedness Day at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The students practiced SALT triage process focusing on the efficiency in helping multiple injured patients at the scene of a subway bombing.
