Jeremy Patterson (OSU/ACCAD) and Dean Hensley (OSU/AAA Digital Learning) were interviewed by local news station NBC4 on Friday, August 25th. The news piece that aired this week is copied below (includes ads).  Mr. Patterson and Mr. Hensley are collaborating with the Office of the Ohio Attorney General Bureau of Criminal Investigations on unsolved missing person cases.

This team of OSU research staff and OSU Design graduate students are improving reconstruction time and missing person representations through applied technologies developed at OSU, based upon consumer-focused hardware and software products from companies including Apple and Epic. The results thus far have shown great promise. This process has reduced the computer imaging time for evidence from an order of magnitude of weeks to just minutes. Additional news about this collaboration will soon follow.
