"Charles Csuri: Art & Research, a Memorial Exhibition in Three Acts" (1967) by Urban Arts Space
Charles Csuri was a pioneering artist, researcher, and professor at The Ohio State University, revolutionizing computer animation through research, funding, and innovation. He played a key role in establishing ACCAD and shaping the future of digital art.
In fall 2023, Urban Arts Space hosted a memorial exhibition at Hopkins Hall Gallery to honor his legacy. The exhibition featured iconic works such as Hummingbird (1967), Frog to Artist (1967), Anima II (1977), Frog Ritual (2014), and a 1983 demo tape from Cranston/Csuri Productions.
