The Wexner Center for the Arts featured an evening of experimental animated films created by Janie Geiser. Ms. Geiser also visited ACCAD on Friday, Oct. 23rd, to meet individually with ACCAD students and provide artistic feedback on various works. Ms. Geiser is Co-Artistic Director of Automata, a Los Angeles nonprofit dedicated to the creation of experimental puppet theater, experimental film, and other contemporary art practices. Geiser is also the Director of the Cotsen Center for Puppetry and the Arts at CalArts, one of the rare programs in the US for the study of experimental object performance and installation.
