Holly Hype

Holly Hype

Summary

This animated short is about a child Holly Hype who often exaggerates reality. When circumstances are uneasy, Holly’s world is projected through a large, creative eye. This perception overpowers reason, and places her in chaotic, uncontrollable situations. Holly's asymmetrical eye is representative of her unbalanced outlook on life, where emotion rules and logic is blinded. She seeks comfort in her bedroom, turning to the therapeutic hobby of knitting to relax her wondering eye. It is through this activity that a balanced perspective is discovered amongst the hype.
